On December 18, 2007, I had the distinct pleasure of participating in a unique demonstration of the Dream Dinners phenomenon in their new location at 330 El Cerrito Plaza (between Copeland's and Citibank) in El Cerrito. The days of traditional and often times stereotypical roles of mothers and fathers are nearly extinct, especially in the area of cooking. Thus, Dream Dinners fills the void of supplementing families with wholesome, healthy food alternatives with the convenience of planning out multiple meals all at once.
Essentially, we were provided a recipe with all of the gourmet ingredients, entrees, and packaging for several servings of various meals. Then we went to individual stations to assemble our meals. Upon completion of our dinners, our wonderful hosts provided us with a tantalizing dessert to sample as we departed. I had a delightful time and definitely recommend this experience to all of those who enjoy cooking while sharing this experience with good company. This is also a great fundraising opportunity for organizations. For more information, please contact Tina Yanagimachi or Jack Ren at (510) 525-8822 or visit http://www.dreamdinners.com/.
