CHBA Pro Bono Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Clinics

Dear All:

The Charles Houston Bar Association (CHBA) is the Bay Area's non-profit membership organization for attorneys of African descent.I chair the Legal Services Committee of the CHBA. I hold pro bono(free) legal clinics ten (10) times a year covering various legal practice areas. On March 14 and April 18, respectively, I will be conducting clinics in the areas of Foreclosure/ Mortgage Loan Modification and Consumer Bankruptcy in partnership with the Alameda County Bar Association and the Crescent Houses Family Resource Center.I have attached the fliers for these clinics. I am writing to request your assistance in publicizing these events to your networks. Given the current economy, these clinics are crucial and hopefullywill be well attended. Please advise your networks of the need toarrive early in order to sign up to discuss their cases with anattorney. The fliers contain all necessary information. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks for your consideration and I hope all are surviving this economy. If you do not wish toreceive further mailings publicizing these clinics, please respond tothis email with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the email and I will remove your name promptly.

Best regards,
